We try to keep our designs as Canadian and local as possible. We look at not only reducing our carbon foot print but also that we work hard to sustain human rights. Our manufacturing process starts in China where the organic cotton and bamboo are grown. It is then produced into yarn using OEKO-TEX standards. Then yarn is then shipped via sea to Scarborough, Ontario where the mill is located. The mill knits the yarn into fabric and then the dye house in Ajax, Ontario dyes the fabric with the Canadian Environmental standards. When the fabric is finished being dyed it is cut and sewn in Scarborough. Our labels are printed and cut in Markham Ontario.
The clothes are then packed with no single-use plastic sleeves or plastic bagging, in a cardboard box to our warehouse in Winnipeg, Manitoba. They are then tagged with a single tag made of recycled paper that is 100% recyclable and organized to be shipped.
We package our shipments in un-dyed kraft recycled tissue and hemp string and place in either a recycled poly mailer or a recycled cardboard box.
